The CAM Pathfinder programme is delivered by the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade (BIST), in partnership with Innovate UK and Zenzic.
Projects supported by this initiative must demonstrate a meaningful path to scale. They are also expected to prioritise the use of UK-made vehicles and components, with funding directly linked to procurement decisions. A staged funding model is used to reduce investment risk and ensure deployments are both commercially and technically viable. The ultimate goal is to position the UK as a global showcase for world-leading CAM services, driving export demand and reinforcing the domestic supply chain.
