Zenzic is jointly funded by UK Government and Industry to provide a trusted focal point and champion for the UK’s Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) ecosystem.
Zenzic exists to bring together industry, government and academia to support the strategic rollout of CAM technologies in the UK. By aligning activity across these communities, Zenzic helps to reduce fragmentation, build shared understanding and ensure that progress in CAM contributes to national priorities.
Zenzic works in partnership with the Department for Business and Trade and Innovate UK to deliver the £150 million CAM Pathfinder programme, as part of the UK Government’s Advanced Manufacturing Sector Plan. Through £150 million of investment, the CAM Pathfinder programme aims to lay the foundations of an early commercial market and position the UK to secure a first mover advantage in Europe.
Working as a key delivery partner with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), we are funded through grants to provide support to the entire UK CAM ecosystem and specifically facilitate government funded interventions such as collaborative R&D competitions and SME innovation programmes.
It is the only place worldwide with the capability to take ideas from concept to development both virtually and physically, all within a 3-hour drive. The UK’s comprehensive facilities are world-leading, with a unique, collaborative way of working.
The UK CAM ecosystem and supply chain contains a diverse set of organisations and cuts across many traditional sectors such as automotive and infrastructure. Read about the strategic research team’s work to identify the UK’s strengths and opportunities.
The UK CAM Roadmap to 2035 provides consensus and guidance for a complex and connected ecosystem, enabling the identification of what needs to happen, and by when, to achieve the vision of CAM at scale in the UK.
