This project builds on the Sim4CAMSens project, originally funded through the Commercialising CAM: Supply Chain competition. Sim4CAMSens 2 aims to improve the capability and accuracy of simulated sensors and environments to aid AV and ADAS development. Key development focuses on improving the efficiency of a sensor’s development process and simulation of in cabin, including the environment, sensors and occupant animations and development of a 360 degree radar sensor. Then formulating guidance for VCA and DVSA to help them understand what make a simulation toolchain credible.
