This project builds on previous work, originally funded through the Commercialising CAM: Deployment competition. The Autonobus project seeks to assist with the commercialisation of Fusion AV technology with additional blue light, No User in Charge (NUiC) features, together with Auto Lane Keep System for heavy-duty applications.

About the project
Project objectives
Objectives for this project include the following:
- Developing further CAVStar features to move towards a commercial AV deployment
- Auto Lane Keep System for heavy duty applications including analysis against Reg179 compliance
- Emergency Vehicle (Blue Light) Detection and Response
- Collate user feedback to determine how well new features address customer concerns about AV buses
- Consumer testing and assessment of NUiC feature set, including fitment of automated wheelchair ramp to an ADL vehicle for assessment.
