Highways UK is the flagship event for creating a more modernised and connected Britain. Whether you are interested in local authority and urban roads or the Strategic Road Network, Highways UK brings together the people and organisations involved in their planning, designing, building, operating and future-proofing.
It returns to the NEC, Birmingham between 6–7 November 2019. The event comprises a multi-stream conference combined with a exhibition and is free to attend. Register here for the event.
As the event is focusing increasingly on the technology that will bring connectivity to the UK’s roads, Zenzic is pleased to announce its return to Highways UK. The Zenzic exhibition stand will showcase what Testbed UK has to offer, as well as discussing the UK Connected and Automated Mobility Roadmap to 2030.
You can book a meeting with Tristan Bacon, Research Associate at Zenzic, for a 1-2-1 session to find your bespoke route through the roadmap here. The roadmap presents a single vision that shows dependencies, focuses on investment and articulates the path to scaling capabilities and technologies globally.
Highways UK is not a trade show but is positioned to be the thought leadership destination for UK road infrastructure development. It attracts a uniquely high level and large number of delegates from client bodies (especially Highways England, regional transport bodies and local authorities) and their upstream supply chain members, particularly contractors and civil engineering consultants.
Exhibiting is as much about visibly contributing to the debate with leading solutions and technologies to help mitigate and manage congestion, safety and the economics of the increasingly loaded UK road network. For this reason, exhibitors are encouraged to contribute to the content programme through proactive thought leadership and new product demonstration fringe events.
Zenzic CEO, Daniel Ruiz, recently discussed the importance of language in the self-driving revolution, exclusively with Highways UK. You can read it here.
