13 projects from across the UK awarded £16 million in combined government and industry funding to drive innovation and commercialise CAM.
In partnership with Innovate UK, a part of UK Research and Innovation, and the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV), 13 successful projects are empowered to drive innovation and commercialise CAM.
The primary focus of these projects is to develop CAM technologies, products, and services, transforming them into commercial offerings that seize early and medium-term opportunities in both the UK and international markets. Through this competition, we aim to target early commercial CAM vehicle opportunities and strengthen the capabilities of the sovereign CAM Supply Chain UK.
Safety and security are paramount in our vision. By filling specific technology gaps and enhancing performance and reliability, we pave the way for the successful deployment of CAM in the UK and beyond. Our goal is to support growth, scale-up opportunities and drive economic impact while addressing the challenges and demands of the evolving mobility landscape.
