Project objectives
Objectives for this project include the following:
- Determine whether a regional ROC model could be commercially viable for future autonomous vehicle operations.
- Identify staffing and operational requirements for running ROC services.
- Understand how NUiC fleet growth and demand for remote services may evolve.
- Evaluate the potential transfer of technology, governance, and safety frameworks from UAV air traffic management.
- Provide roadmaps and strategic guidance for scaling ROC capability in the UK CAM ecosystem.
