The Port Automation Group mission
A catalyst for further action
The Port Automation Group is interested in aligning CAM deployments with port regulation, and the objectives of the regulators.
The group uses this alignment to inform solutions proposed to the market, and ensure that the impact of public and private funded activity is maximised, to create maximum leverage from CAM solutions deployed on the portside.
- Develop the business case for the deployment of CAM in UK Ports;
- Identify opportunities and anticipate risks in making the UK an attractive place forresearch, development and deployment of CAM technologies in UK Ports;
- Stimulate a more resilient and competitive supply chain for UK Ports;
Our members
The group membership comprises of a mix of CAM technology developers, regulators, logistics operators and senior airport staff, all with deep understanding and interest in the application of technology in the civil aviation space.
