SWARM Demonstration driverless pods

How will automated pods work in real-world transport systems?

The answer could be in nature. This unique event offers inspiring talks and insights into a ground-breaking new project, SWARM (Self-organising Wide area Autonomous vehicle Real time Marshalling). The SWARM study investigated the potential of using swarm intelligence (seen in colonies of bees and ants) to manage fleets of driverless pods. SWARM is an Innovate UK-funded collaborative project, led by Aurrigo in partnership with WMG and Milton Keynes Council.
