Supported by the Centre for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CCAV), and in partnership with Plug and Play, Zenzic’s CAM Scale-Up UK Programme offers selected start-ups and SMEs a unique opportunity to test their products or service in realistic environments across the world leading CAM Testbed UK facilities, accelerating their delivery to market.

In 2023, we offered the opportunity for CAM Scale-Up UK alumni to apply for additional funding. Earlier this year we were delighted to announce the opportunity for a second cohort of CAM alumni to follow in their footsteps.

This funding provides support for companies to engage in a challenge led proof of concept to demonstrate their commercial readiness. In particular, the purpose of this round of funding was to enable SME to overcome the sometimes, significant engineering costs incurred to integrate their work into a customer solution.

This opportunity was exclusively available to CAM Scale-Up UK alumni to access a share of the additional grant funding. To access funding, CAM Scale-Up UK alumni meeting the eligibility criteria took part in a detailed application process, demonstrating their opportunity, proof of concept with customer application and the market potential of the work.

The selected SMEs that are taking part in this year’s exploitation projects are as follows:

  • Albora Technologies– Developing a high-precision geolocation open ecosystem
  • Beam Connectivity– Unlocking the value of data generated by your vehicle fleet
  • Helix Geospace– Antennas & systems for resilient, precision PNT & satellite communications
  • Robotiz3d – Autonomous pothole detection, prevention, and repair technology. Designed for the cities of the future.
  • Oxford RF– Breakthrough sensor vision for ADAS & Autonomy
