Mili Naik is Zenzic’s Technical Delivery Lead, with wide experience in the CAM sector. Mili recently co-authored our update to the UK CAM Roadmap to 2035.
From 25th to 27th April, Mili Naik travelled to Transport Technology Forum (TTF) at the Hilton Hotel in Leeds.
The event brought together key stakeholders in the transportation industry, and Zenzic’s attendance was an excellent opportunity to collaborate, learn from other stakeholders and to bring Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) into new spaces.
The conference served as a platform for government officials, local authorities, suppliers, and academia to share insights, discuss government policies, and highlight best practices and innovative solutions in transportation technology. It was inspiring to witness the collective efforts aimed at transforming the future of mobility and creating a prosperous and greener UK.
TTF featured a diverse range of speakers who provided valuable insights into various aspects of transport technology; from government officials explaining policies to industry experts sharing their expertise, the speaker lineup was impressive. It was evident that the conference organisers took great care in selecting individuals who could contribute to the knowledge and understanding of attendees.
Takeaways of the conference included the need for a national strategy and consistent approach across regions, as emphasised by Chris Lodge of TRL. Additionally, working groups, including those focused on data, digital twins, and transport strategy, presented updates on their respective areas, emphasising the importance of purpose and collaboration. The collective efforts of these groups and their subsequent reporting to all delegates helped foster a collaborative environment and encouraged the exchange of ideas and experiences.
TTF not only provided a comprehensive overview of government support for local authorities in implementing road transport technology but also showcased real-world case studies of successful transport technology projects. The event reaffirmed the importance of collaboration and innovation in shaping the future of mobility in the UK.
At Zenzic, we are excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for our organisation and the broader CAM ecosystem. The knowledge gained from TTF will undoubtedly contribute to our ongoing efforts to widen the CAM ecosystem.
