CAM Pathfinder Objectives
CAM Pathfinder lays the foundations for an early commercial market and positions the UK to secure an early mover advantage in Europe for the deployment of CAM products and services. The programme will support the UK CAM sector to accelerate its technological capabilities and demonstrate CAM operations as commercially viable. This programme will focus on targeted, high-value market segments for the UK in the early commercialisation of these technologies, whilst also ensuring these are safe and secure for all.
Pathfinder Competitions
To deliver on the vision of CAM Pathfinder, innovation will be driven through a variety of targeted funding competitions. These are designed to accelerate the development, deployment, and adoption of Connected and Automated Mobility (CAM) technologies across the UK — supporting growth, investment, and global leadership in this transformative sector.

Zenzic and The Advanced Propulsion Centre UK (APC) announce the first Mobilise cohort of seventeen SMEs. Courtesy of the CAM Pathfinder, and DRIVE 35 programmes, each receives a share of £3.2 million in grant funding.
Feasibility Studies
Fourteen exciting feasibility studies roll out across the UK, creating and refining the business cases necessary to unlock CAM across the country.
Enhancements
Seven CR&D projects funded through CAM Pathfinder. Each of the projects has already conducted work supported by UK Government, with this additional funding set to help the consortiums behind each project further develop and demonstrate their commerciality.
